This website offers concepts and materials for educational activities to trainers, multipliers, and teachers on the topic of values. The aim is to enable and promote an open debate on this sensitive issue, and particularly on its European dimension.

EU Democracy Rally 

Tools and learning resources to foster youth engagement in European democratic life

EU Democracy Rally offers young people a range of tools that enable them to create political and social campaigns. The training covers topics like conflict management, active listening, media skills, campaigning, wellbeing, rhetoric, EU knowledge, etc. and offers the opportunity to playfully engage with democratic processes in simulation games and research.

Fit4EU

Teacher Trainings for a Target Group-Specific Civic Education on the European Union

Fit4EU (2023–2025) is a Jean Monnet-funded initiative offering free, modular teacher training tailored to different school types. It combines research-based content, interactive methods, expert input, practical teaching materials and games to help educators strengthen their understanding of the European Union and teach civic education in engaging ways.

CITIZED

Policy Implementation Support And Teacher Empowerment For Citizenship Education

The CITIZED project aimed to improve how citizenship education is implemented in schools by providing practical tools and training for educators. A key result is the Whole School Approach Toolkit, which promotes integrating democratic values into all aspects of school life. It offers guidelines, self-assessment tools, and practical examples. 

SLEAD

Service learning for democracy in Europe

The SLEAD project supports teachers in implementing Service-Learning as a method to strengthen democratic education. The website provides practical resources, training materials, guidelines, and examples of Service-Learning activities that help teachers connect classroom learning with civic engagement and real-world community challenges. 

coAction

A Whole School Approach to Democracy in Action

coACTION supports teachers in creating more democratic and participatory school environments through a whole-school approach. Teachers can access practical tools, methods and guidance to strengthen student participation, active citizenship and democratic school culture. The project offers resources such as a toolbox of activities and a guide for implementation.

The European Heart Project

Resources for democratic values and civic engagement

The European Heart Project provides teachers with resources to foster democratic values, empathy and active citizenship among students. Students engage with activities on needs, conflicts, human rights and participation, while teachers receive guides and teaching materials. The project offers practical tools, including classroom activities and the Active Citizen Team game.

Case4You

Empowering EU citizens

Case4EU helps teachers bring European citizenship, EU rights and values into the classroom through real-life case studies. Teachers can find adaptable teaching materials, case files, themes and didactic methods based on EU citizens’ stories and Court of Justice cases.

Democracy reloading

Strengthening youth participation in local democracy

Democracy Reloading supports youth participation and democratic decision-making at local level. The project provides tools, training and guidance for youth workers, municipalities and youth representatives. Young people are supported to engage in local decision-making, while practitioners learn how to create meaningful participation structures.
