VAL-YOU al “Best of Erasmus 2025”

🧍‍♂️🧍‍♀️ All people are equal before the law, but what about in practice?Equality is a founding value of the European Union, and gender equality is central to all EU policies. But deep-rooted beliefs about gender roles still shape our views and decisions.🏛️ Men in power, women at home; these old ideas are still present, especially among certain groups.Research shows that gender equality is stronger in countries with:✔️ Higher female labour participation✔️ Economic stability✔️ Modern work-family policies📊 Curious how different countries view gender leadership?👉 See the map based on this question: “On the whole, men make better political leaders than women do” (source: www.atlasofeuropeanvalues.eu/).In classrooms, these discussions build democratic citizenship by making values personal, practical, and powerful. #ValYouProject #DemocracyEducation #TeachersForDemocracy #EuropeanValues See MoreSee Less
